At the end of the week long aerial adventure, you’ll be taking home so much aerial candy…fun new skills, innovative sequences, and invaluable technique tips.

The instructors specialize in finding those tiny but mighty adjustments that will take your aerial practice to the next level.

💪 Not to mention how strong you’ll feel after a full week of aerialing every day. (except for the mid-week aerial rest day!) leaving you feeling more confident in your ability to move with efficiency, control, and flow.

Learn this choreography! 👇

I created a short piece of choreography and I’m super excited to teach it to you! This piece is based around being in a “fight state” nervous system response.

This Saturday, join me for a 2 hour remote workshop where you will learn new unique transitions and sequencing. I’ll break down each move step-by-step and give you real time feedback and tips.

You’ll also be given a video of the full choreography with all of the musicality cues and theatrical layers for those who want to develop it and take it even further.

If you’re a little nervous about working with theatricality in the air, don’t stress! Most of this workshop will be focused on learning the nuts and bolts of the skills and the theatricality is purely optional for those who want to explore. I’ll also be sharing a BTS look at the process of how I built the choreography around a theatrical concept.

All of our food is locally sourced from the Island of Crete and prepared by a local chef who considers all dietary needs and allergies.

Our menu is carefully crafted with a healthy and balanced diet to keep your body nourished and give you energy so you can get the most out of your training time!

You’ll get an array of different dining opportunities...from fully stocked kitchens for DIY breakfast and snacks, to fully catered lunches and dinners, and 2 dinners out on the town.

We’ve hand selected top-notch restaurants in Chania, beachfront and in the heart of the old harbor, which makes for some unforgettable Cretan dining experiences.

Cretan cuisine is renowned both in Greece and internationally for its unique ingredients and flavors. It’s the variety of local produce that distinguishes the dishes: mountain herbs and greens, bulbs, unique cheeses, fresh fish, the famous Cretan olive oil.

For those who like to sample local spirits, you’ll most certainly be offered a shot of raki at restaurants and even shops. Raki is a grape brandy the locals love to share!

This drill will transform your straddle switch bea

This drill will transform your straddle switch beats!

Whether you’re a ropie who wants to up level your straddle switch technique, or a sling nerd who loves to move dynamically throughout your choreography…..this drill is for you!

There’s a lot of info packed into this 1 min video, so we highly encourage you save it so you can really dive into it next time you’re in the studio

📋 Progressions:
1) Find the pathway with hands on
2) Start to add more leg drive power
3) Balance in a flat back straddle
4) Put it all together!

Tips:
✔️ Close the straddle (aka Pike) before dropping the leading leg down
✔️Keep a strong leg differentiation, one leg leads the other leg follows
✔️ You should pass through a Bell Beat shape in the middle
✔️Always master the pathway before you try to add power
✔️ Use strong engagement in the legs to SLICE through the air. No spaghetti legs 🍝

Try it out and tag us when you post! Remember, this drill is HARD so if you’re not getting the no hands version, don’t give up! Keep working the progressions and enjoy the process. Because hands or no hands….working this drill is a fabulous addition to your momentum training ⚡️
